Groups Work to Restore Neglected National Mall

Washington, DC -- The National Mall is a huge attraction, both for tourists and locals, but it's fallen into disarray in recent years. The Park Service only spends about $12.50 per square foot maintaining the Mall and two groups are working to restore the Mall to its original grandeur.
